Medicupping™ Therapy

What is Medicupping™ Therapy? It was born out of cupping therapy that has been around since ancient Egyptian times and is still commonly practiced in many areas of the world.
It is even more effective now with the Medicupping™ method because the equipment is electric. It works with a vacuum to lift the tissue and create space between the layers of tissue, muscles, and lymph. With this method, the health care practitioner can create deep pressure or very light pressure by pulling the tissue away from the bones. The deeper pressure can help enhance athletic performance, the lighter pressure can open up the rib cage and lung areas for better breathing. Fibromyalgia patients have reported feeling more relaxation in their muscles without the pain associated with deeper work. Athletes are amazed at the release of tight IT bands, back, quads, hamstrings and shoulder areas with little or no discomfort than that of a deep tissue massage.
